How much is Mi Drone priced?

Mi Drone - Offical Price

Mi Drone is available in two variants: the 1080p at  2499 (~ $380) and the 4K at  2999 (~ $456). Wow! That’s even way much cheaper than DJI Phantom 3 4K, DJI Phantom 4 4K, and Yuneec 4K. The price is dramatically lower than any other competitors so it is sure that Xiaomi will challenge existing drone industries – like what they did in smartphone industries and they succeed.

It is really a perfect drone for beginner because it is easy-to-use, ready to fly (RTF), having many advanced features, and it is cheaper on its class. The vice president, Hugo Barra, pointed that drones are typically a “toy” for rich people. Hence, with this Xiaomi’s new product, people can expect an affordable alternative. It is cheap but not it possess many advanced features that previously only expensive drones have them.

As what announced, this sophisticated-but-affordable drone will enter crownfunding platform at Mi Home and the product will enter open beta at the end of July. There is no certain information regarding its general availability. Let’s just hope for it to be available worldwide.
