Redmi Note 3 has been released in two variants: the MediaTek version and Qualcomm version. While the Qualcomm Snapdragon version has been available worldwide, the MediaTek version is not. Hence, the only available MIUI 7 ROM listed in Xiaomi’s official website are the China Stable build and China Developer build. However, many people outside China have an opportunity to have the Redmi Note 3 MediaTek (RN3MTK) on hands.
For those who owns the RN3MTK device but has no ability understanding Chinese language, there is an alternative MIUI7 ROM has been developed by one of MIUI Beta Team member called AdersonAragao. Based on MIUI7 ROM without any modification except the language part, this ROM is really a great option.
Featuring many worldwide languages including English, this ROM is basically a real MIUI7 Global ROM for Redmi Note 3 MTK. This version of ROM is Android 5.0.2 but with no Chinese patched ROM. The only restriction of installing this ROM is that user won’t be able to get OTA update, so the only way to update is using the one released by the developer of this ROM.
