Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm Snapdragon variant aka Kenzo is one of MIUI devices getting MIUI 8 Global Stable update earlier than any other. However, the MIUI v18.104.22.168 Global Stable for Kenzo is still based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Luckily, Epic developer team has developed custom MIUI 8 ROM based on its Developer build version 6.8.25 and it is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow already. The ROM features all awesomeness of MIUI 8 minus all Chinese apps, bloatware, and ads. Moreover, it has been also rooted with SuperSU. However, this is not for Kenzo with locked bootloader.

The developer said that first time booting into normal mode you’ll see one – two reboots. It may also take longer than usual (approx. 15-21 minutes) which is normal. Just make sure you never interrupt the booting process. You may also need to read original thread at HTCMania community to find out more information and may be getting support.
