Redmi Note 3 has been available for awhile but it doesn’t mean that the popularity of Redmi Note 2 decreases. Released earlier that the third version, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is equipped with Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset and it is very popular among many MIUI fans. Moreover, its 5.5 inches touchscreen display is spoiling its user to play games and to watch videos on it. Many of its users are also dare to play around with their device like rooting, installing custom recovery, flashing custom ROM, and so on. Sometimes they even ended up with bricked state that made them to reflash stock MIUI ROM on it.
Whatever your reason is, you may also be in a similar situation and at that point you may required to also reinstall Google Apps on it. In this article, you will see easiest way to install Play Store app and many other Google Apps (Gapps) using a simple installer package (.apk) including Google Service Framework, Play Services, Google Account, and so on – as explained by Adeel Rana. You don’t even need a rooted device and you don’t also need to reboot into recovery. On top of that, no computer / PC is involved.

Step 1 – Download Google Apps Installer .apk file into your phone.
Step 2 – Make sure you have enabled / allowed installation from unknown sources in Settings.
Step 3 – Launch up File Manager app, locate the newly downloaded .apk file and install it.
Step 4 – Once installed, launch it up. You will most-likely get following error “Request failed, please try to refresh later“. In this case you just need to tap on the Refresh button several times.
Step 5 – Eventually, you will a list of available Google Apps packages to install. Simply scroll down the page a little bit and install Play Store. Installing Play Store for the very first time is essential since you may install any other Google Apps through it.
Step 6 – Upon clicking the “Install” button next to Play Store you will see a popup message saying “Google Play requires Google Service Framework to work. Click OK to install“. Just tap on “OK“.
Step 7 – You will then see following list indicating that installing Play Store will also install Google Services Framework, Google Account Manager, and Google Play Service.
Step 8 – Simply tap on the icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 9 – Another notification will pop up. Simply tap on “Continue” button.
Step 10 – Upon clicking the continue button you will see the installer starts installing the first app and continue with the next ones. There will be chance for you to see the app installing Play Store first then any other apps. If you do, simply tap on “Cancel” instead. Make sure you install all other 4 Gapps first whereas Play Store is the last app to be installed.
Failed to do so, if you installed Play Store before any other 4 apps, the Play Store app will be unusable and getting force closed error.
Step 12 – Once done, you will see Play Store icon displayed on your phone’s screen.
Step 13 – Launch it up for the very first time. Normally, it will ask you to update the app since the one comes with the installer is outdated.
Step 14 – Next, simply enter your Gmail account to start with.
That’s all. You can now proceed accordingly. Just search any other Google Apps in Play Store and install it one by one. Enjoy!
