Hey I just tried your above mentioned method on my redmi 2 prime. And, using flashify app, twrp was successfuly flashed and asked to reboot but since then, its stuck on MI logo. I tried going through recovery by pressing Vol Up & Power but nothing. It just stucks at the MI logo. And, while in recovery mode, it displays :-
    PCBA test: FAIL
    MMI test: FAIL
    MMI2 test: Fail

What to do now ? How to restore my phone ?

In step 6 you told to select twrp.img but in step 7 in the photo you have selected stock.img. That was confusing but i chose twrp.img only. Was that a problem ?
