  • Hi Fariez. I’d like to know, Is Redmi 3 Pro’s ROM same with Redmi 3’s? I was looking for its ROM on, but i found nothing. Instead i found Redmi 3 and 3S/X’s ROM.

Even though I have a lot of experience with bootloop, but this phone’s still new. Besides, it has different step to unbrick it with Lenovo A706 (This is my first Android phone, had so many exp). And, this type isn’t official in Indonesia.

    * Excuse my English *

    • farieznur

It should be the same as Redmi 3 since the only differences are that Redmi 3 Pro has bigger RAM, bigger ROM (3GB, 32GB), and fingerprint sensor. What version of MIUI you are now running?

  • Awesome! Even though I can’t get the fastboot method to work (“remote command unknown”), the hard keys combination works like charm.

    • Matej

It was vice versa in my case. 😀

  • jagadeesh medabalimi

    • Matej

The screen only goes black, when you enter it. So you cant make a screenshot. You know, you have enetered it, when it shows in miflash as COM…

19 days later, I am trying to flash another Redmi 3s, but none of the methods are working. 🙁

  • sai Prakash

when trying 2nd method it saying “device locked cannot operate remote…. something” what can i do

  • Hemsagar Patel

non of these work onlocked bootloader

  • BTW, these methods work depending on the version of firmware installed. Latest units do not allow EDL mode, so the only way to do it is with a deep flash cable.

  • Aoz

    None of them worked.
2nd option said: FAILED (remote: device locked, oem edl is not allowed)

  • prakash

not work ADB Method, Fastboot Method, Hard Keys Combination Method and deep cable all type use but 3s prime is not going to edl mode
