LineageOS is possibly the first Custom ROM for the Xiaomi Mi A1, and it has now been released to its users. It was released on December 8th, 2017. In this article, you will be able to download LineageOS and also find steps on how to install this ROM on your smartphone. It should also be noted that this is just a trial version and we’re not liable if any problems occur with your phone.

Instructions on How to Install Lineage OS
Unlock bootloader, or if you have it previously unlocked already, continue to the next step.
Run TWRP Custom Recovery. A guide can be found here at this post. Also, you can temporarily boot into this for completing the LineageOS 14.1 installation.
You can also enable rooting, but this is optional. If you need to, you can run SuperSU. SuperSU can be downloaded here.
