This is a working exploit to obtain native root access on Redmi 1S running MIUI 8 Global Stable build. It means you can root without flashing TWRP or SuperSU. Xiaomi has rolled out MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM for all supported devices including for Redmi 1S. This root package is flashable through Mi Updater app and is compatible for MIUI 8 v8.0.1.0.KHCMIDG (HM1SWC). There are tow downloadable packages: one for rooting and the other one to unroot. The file is hosted and mirrored in our US based server powered with Vultr cloud infrastructure ensuring fast and stable download experience.Enjoy..

    Fake, does not work.
    It is stuck at MI boot logo, had to reset it using MiFlashTool to get the stock rom back. I used to be on 8.1.2 now on MIUI 6.
    Stop posting such stupid roots if you don’t have correct file.
